Your new School
This 11-18 comprehensive school, located in the city of Cardiff caters for around 1,400 pupils. Pupils generally feel very safe in school and many take part in the wide range of extra-curricular activities provided by the school and local community. Many of the pupils are courteous and relate well to one another, to their teachers and to other adults (Estyn inspection, 2016). The school facilities are contemporary and the ICT department is very well organised.
Your new role
You will be responsible for system wide technical support to curriculum and administrative PCs, laptops, printers and our network installation. In co-operation with teachers you will support the teaching of ICT by preparing relevant materials and working alongside pupils and teachers in the ICT suite, in classrooms and in out of hours learning activities.
What you'll need to succeed
-You will be ICT trained;
-Comfortable using various software packages;
-Able to programme and handle software problems;
-Able to handle any network/internet issues;
-You will hold a clean DBS check.
