ICT Systems Developer

Based in Hoddesdon, and reporting directly to the ICT Software Development Manager, this role requires an individual who is flexible, adaptable and focused on providing excellence in Application Development. Strong technical skills and the ability to think outside of the box to come up with solutions are a must. They will have excellent technical skills and a strong ability to communicate well at all levels of the business. In addition they will be required to ensure that work is carried out promptly, efficiently and effectively and that documentation is completed where necessary. Responsibilities Design & Ensure Compliance to Development Standards & Rules Ensure Full Training & Handover to Support Technicians & IT Developers Develop New Solutions Adhering to the Requirements & Standards of UK Systems Maintain & Enhance Existing Solutions including Business Critical Databases Support 3rd Party Database Applications Work to ensure Project Timescales are realistic and maintained Efficient use of the ICT Helpdesk System to Log & Update Cases being handled by the Developers Ensure System & Data Integrity Ensure Efficiency of Systems is Maintained or Improved Report Writing & Data Manipulation Providing Full Documentation for New Developments Assist the Support Technicians with Database / Application Issues where applicable Team Training & Knowledge Sharing Ensuring Consistent Delivery of good Customer Service Participate in Projects as required Knowledge Sharing with Peers and other areas within ICT

Required Qualifications / Expertise

Educated to A Level Standard

· SQL Server


· ASP .NET Framework (C#)

· MVC, SOAP, Web Services


· JavaScript, JQuery


· Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite & Windows Networks
