An opportunity exists for a qualified accountant to join the ICS Finance team as an Assistant Financial Controller for the Property & Corporate Services area. Internal Client Services (ICS) is Deloitte’s engine room and is made up of a number of key areas: Human Resources, IT Services, Clients & Industries, Finance & Legal, Property & Corporate Services and Shared Service Organisation. ICS employees play a critical role by helping their internal stakeholders to be more efficient and focused on delivering a distinctive experience to their individual client groups.
We currently have an opportunity available for someone to join the ICS Accounting team as the property & Corporate Services Assistant Financial Controller.
The suitable candidate will be a part qualified accountant with experience of working in an accounting organisation. Training and development will be offered.
They will be required to work closely with the management of the service area’s providing financial support.
• Supporting the ICS Financial Control Senior Manager in the delivery:-
• Monthly PSA reconciliations and postings.
• Analysis of areas under central control - Projects / adhoc requests.
• Working closely with the P&CS Financial Controller to deliver -
• Month end Property and Facility accruals/prepayments and reporting across 27 Regional Offices
• Providing financial support and information to key Workplace Services and Real Estate stakeholders
• Review Rent/SC and rates schedules
• Balance sheet reviews
• Assisting in preparation of space allocation data on quarterly basis
• AUC reporting

Your professional experience
• Part Qualified Accountant (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with relevant experience.
• Clear communications skills, with the ability to develop effective relationships with all levels within the Firm.
• Good computer knowledge and skills, especially Excel.
• Be questioning of current processes and be able to highlight areas of weakness or risk.
• Proactive in identifying issues and finding solutions.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
