This is a fantastic opportunity to join my client, a trusted, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy known for lending their expertise to diverse projects across the Engineering and Environmental landscapes. They are actively seeking a driven, experienced Hydraulic Modeller who is willing to take on projects across a variety of sectors, based near the historical, cultural town of Taunton.

Responsibilities for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:

• Delivering a variety of projects at all stages of the design process
• Producing hydraulic models and surveys
• Using a variety of software systems to prepare models, reports, and other technical documents
• Liaising with clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectors
• Attending site visits and other meetings as a company representative
• Adhering to industry standards, regulations, and the appropriate health and safety requirements at all times

Required skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:

• A Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, or a similar, relevant discipline
• Experience of working in a design capacity, within a UK consultancy (or Local Authority) setting
• Demonstrable experience of wastewater modelling
• Proficient in the use of InfoWorks ICM (1D and 2D), and other relevant software packages

Desirable skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:

• Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
• Actively working to attain Chartered Status
• Good knowledge of the local area and surrounding region
• Knowledge of a range of other software systems used within the flood risk, drainage, and hydrology sectors
