Humanities Teachers required for long term cover at Schools across Salford, Trafford and surrounding areas.
Your new company
Hays Education have seen an increased demand in Humanities teachers across the Salford, Trafford and surrounding Manchester areas, and as such we have a number of vacancies available to start after Easter for long term cover. These roles are 1 term cover, with the potential for possible extensions through to the end of the academic year.
Although you may have a specialist subject (History, RE or Geography), you may at times be required to cover your colleagues within the Humanities department.
Your new role
You will be responsible for delivering your specialist subject, as well as supporting the rest of the Humanities department. This role will require you to completing all planning and preparation, as well as marking and assessment. You will be responsible for ensuring behaviour within classes is maintained, and pupils are able learn and deliver to their potential.
You will also be required to attend parents evenings and other school functions, fully contributing to school life.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status through to KS4. You must be available to start week commencing 16th April and continue through 1 term with the potential to be extended until the end of the academic year.
