Humanities Teacher: Geography, History, Psychology or Sociology
Smart Education is looking for a Humanities Teacher for OUTSTANDING Ofsted rated Secondary School near Harborne. This position starts mid November, initially on a temporary basis until the new year. They are welcoming applications from experienced teachers with QTS and can offer a supportive environment with access to the most up to date resources, commitment to ongoing CPD and progression opportunities within the school and wider academy trust. The pupils at the school are keen to learn and are well behaved, the schools approach to learning is child centred.

They are looking for Humanities teachers with experience teaching across KS3&4, and can offer the successful candidates the opportunity to become a permanent member of the teaching team.
You will be required to;
* Plan, prepare and deliver lessons
* Be able to effectively manage a classroom
* Mark and prepare students work
* Strong Knowledge of KS3 and KS4 curriculum (options for KS5)
* Experience in teaching secondary education
* A positive attitude and an enthusiastic approach
Qualifications Required: QTS /QTLS/ PGCE
Salary: £110 - 180 per day
Hours: 8:20-3:30 Monday to Friday
