We are looking for 2 highly motivated individuals to join the Human Resources Department at Alder Hey NHS Foundation Trust as HR managers for 12 months supporting our clinical divisions
As the HR Manager you will be expected to take a lead role in driving forward the Trust’s agreed Human Resources agenda and take lead responsibility for specific corporate Human Resource objectives.
As a member of the Divisional Operational Management Teams, you will contribute to the development and implementation of divisional HR plans
You will be expected to operate as a knowledgeable and autonomous senior HR professional on all HR matters, in particular employment law and effective HR practice, providing a point of contact for all employment related queries. This includes providing effective advice on case management of disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management, including advising managers and staff in line with Trust policy and legislation
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and hold an additional qualification equivalent to Masters level or relevant equivalent level experience with a level 7 CIPD qualification. You will also have demonstrated expert knowledge, understanding and experience working as a HR professional.
You will have experience of coaching and supporting others and ideally management experience. Specialist knowledge and practical experience in the analysis of complex data and information as well as producing high level reports is essential. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively at all levels, in collaboration and partnership both within and outside the organisation.
Interviews will take place on 28th September 2020 and you will be asked to present a 10 minute presentation on the following topic ‘How can the role of HRM support the clinical divisions to deliver the NHS people plan and how will you measure performance’
