Salary: £40,000+ (dependent on experience) plus 10% Performance related annual bonus

·Functionally accountable to the European HR Director, through a matrix management structure, and operationally responsible to the Plant Manager.
·Enhance the organisations human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices.
·As a member of the senior management team you will be expected to fully support ambitious growth plans, taking responsibility for all relevant KPIs, budgets and contribute to the safe and effective running of the site.
·Recruitment: -Recruiting, testing, and interviewing; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes
·Attendance Management: -Establish clear triggers for attendance and lateness; coaching management in 'return to work’ procedures
·Employee Development & Engagement: - Counselling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
·Human Resource Policies: -Develop and review policies checking that they are harmonised with legislative and European Group organisational standards
The ideal candidate will have:
·Degree or CIPD related qualification
·Able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development
·Working knowledge of UK/ EU employment law
