1 full time (37.5 hours) permanent post / 1 part time (30 hour) permanent post

Opportunities have arisen to join our busy HR team arising from promotion and retirement.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with excellent communication skills who can work flexibly and independently. The posts offer an ideal opportunity to use your HR and OD skills within a busy acute healthcare setting, to make a difference for staff and ultimately patient care.

We are moving towards a People Partner approach, and you will work alongside assigned Clinical Management Groups and /or Corporate Services leading on the provision of a strategic, operational and business-focused HR service to all staff, including complex case work, organisational change, workforce planning and development, employee relations, leading and influencing organisational change, staff development and training. The post has management responsibility for delivery of HR workforce indicators, e.g. sickness / appraisal target, delivery of cost improvement plans and workforce change for the designated area. The post holder will also contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and service plans and take responsibility for the management of a Trust wide corporate work and/or management of specific areas related to HR/OD.

Your primary base will be Leicester Royal Infirmary and you will be expected to work across all three acute hospital sites and travel to other NHS site, and with opportunities for some home working.

Applications are invited from those who are hold as a minimum a Degree in a HRM qualification or equivalent, be a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and have the CIPD Advanced Level 7 Diploma in HRM or equivalent experience in a large complex unionised environment.
