We are a rapidly growing Birmingham-based organisation looking for a Human Resources Assistant to contribute significantly to our team's success.
Position Overview:
In this role, you will support our HR team by managing recruitment processes, maintaining employee records, assisting with payroll tasks, and coordinating HR projects. Your work will be critical in creating a positive and productive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support recruitment efforts, including creating job postings, scheduling interviews, and conducting preliminary candidate screenings.
- Manage and update employee records with confidentiality and precision.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new employees.
- Provide support for payroll processing and benefits coordination.
- Organise training sessions and team development initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team.
- Ensure adherence to UK employment laws and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR or administrative capacity.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software (e.g., PeopleSoft).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Right to work in the UK.
