HSE Manager

  • Up to £40,000 per annum

  • Covering multiple sites in the south of the UK
  • Permanent staff position

An experienced HSE Manager with a background in multi-sited operations is sought by a market-leading company with a global presence.

Working from one of the office locations in London or Hampshire, you will primarily responsible for HSE management systems across multiple company sites between Southampton, London and Birmingham.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Take the lead for HSE Management systems
  • Carrying out audits
  • Advise Senior Management on HSE matters
  • Implement role responsibilities to employees for HSE system implementation
  • Coordinate action plans for ISO14001 and OSHAS18001
  • Develop, review and monitor HSE objectives and targets
  • Write management system and investigation reports
  • Provide technical advice on H&S matters; assist in the identification, assessment and control of hazards
  • Risk assessments
  • Develop & deliver training programs
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety & environmental legislation and guidance
  • Develop sustainability & energy saving initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
  • Ideally Degree level education in a relevant discipline
  • Experienced in implementing OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 or ISO27001 standards
  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience managing HSE within a corporate/plc environment is preferred
