This is an excellent opportunity for a HSE Manager to work with senior management and take responsibility for leading all aspects of developing, implementing and maintaining agreed HSE policies and other operating standards across the group.
The role will be based in Altrincham with UK travel from Kent to the north of Scotland.
Development and maintenance of the HSE management systems across the group.
Provision of competent advice and guidance to management and employees on health and safety.
Assist with subsequent investigation process; provide trend analysis to senior management to support and provide focus for driving positive behaviours and culture within the business.
Carry out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans to group businesses.
Oversee the use of behavioural approaches to safety.
Driving best practice; demonstrate commitment and be proactive in the development of the health and safety within the group.
Requirements for the role:
Previous experience in a HSE role, working within a group of businesses, would be preferred but not essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence people and stakeholders across the business
Good personal organisation skills.
Adaptable with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks at any given time.
A keen desire to succeed and make a real difference.
Good problem-solving skills.
A level of travel will be required.
Qualifications required for the role:
NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum.
