HSE Engineer required for chemical manufacturing site based in Wrexham. Global business with excellent growth
Your new company
A global company who have been operating for many years. The chemical products produced are supplied into aerospace industries around the world. The company have recently opened their second production site in Wrexham and have further sites around the UK and globally.
Your new role
As HSE Engineer you will be required to implement and maintain the companies HSE policies, procedures, standards and guidelines. You will provide advice on compliance with regards to policies, regulations and legislation. You will also be required to audit and produce assessment reports on HSE matters. You will be required to investigate any HSE incidents that happen on site and provide solutions to avoid recurrence. Any new HSE programs that are introduced to the business will be rolled out by you.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be required to have a NEBOSH certificate and IOSH membership as a minimum. You should also have experience within either chemical or aerospace manufacturing environments. You will also ideally have an auditors qualification and have clear understanding and experience working with management systems (ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001).
