Role: HR Administrator (Training, Learning and Development)
Salary: £20,000 plus car allowance (role requires travel)
Location: Stonehouse, Gloucester
Basis: Permanent

As the Maternity Cover of the Learning & Development Coordinator, the main function of this role is to support the planning and co-ordination of successful delivery of the company's training scheme. This position will be an integral part of the HR team liaising with all parties involved both internal and external.

Role Requirements:

- You must be organised, motivated, and able to learn and work independently in order to succeed in this role.

- IT literacy and skill beyond basic levels is essential: High level efficiency in word, excel and outlook.

- You must have a professional manner and excellent communication skills - including strong listening skills.

- You will need to effectively prioritise, using own initiative in working proactively.

- Ability to take ownership and to work unsupervised.

Role Responsibilities:

*Ensuring that processes relating to course booking are carried out effectively and in timely manner.

*Providing logistical support for training sessions, i.e. booking meeting rooms, booking accommodation, sending invites to individuals, preparing handouts, etc.

*Keeping Training records up to date.

*Liaising directly with vendors to coordinate the training calendar, establish preferential rates and ensuring smooth running of programmes including ensuring prompt payments of invoices.

*Preparing Induction day's itinerary, working closely with HR Administrator, liaising with relevant line-managers and those departments who are involved in conducting Induction.

*Manage all professional development memberships and qualification paperwork, working closely with the TechOps coordinator.

*Keeping eLearning system up to date, enrolling individuals on courses when necessary

*Training Budget updates

Candidate Experience:

Experience and candidate qualities:
*Previous experience in a technical, utilities, engineering or construction administration role is desirable.

*Previous track record of effective communication with all stakeholders.

*Proven ability to adapt to commercial/in house software packages.

*Demonstrate great verbal and written communication skills.

*Able to prioritise, build relationships at all levels and work with conflicting priorities.

*Be organised and proactive.
