HR Team Leader

Macildowie HR is delighted to be supporting a global manufacturing organisation in Nottinghamshire with the recruitment of a HR Team leader to manage the growing HR team.

Leading a small but growing HR function, this role will be based at the Nottingham site with some travel to other locations to ensure an efficient and effective HR service across all managers and employees in the UK.

This role will include but not limited to, recruitment, taking ownership of SLA agreements for offers letters, contracts, and new starter inductions. Also, 1st line advice to both managers and employees on maternity, paternity, absence and performance related queries. Finally, supporting payroll with accurate employee information and data.

With automation and growth very much on the agenda for this organisation, this role will also have the opportunity to get involved in wider ad hoc group projects, such as GDPR, gender pay, HR automation and much more.

To be considered for the role you must be CIPD qualified, have previous experience managing a team in a HR capacity and finally, experience operating in a shared service would be advantageous . Although this role is to be based from the Nottingham location, some travel is to be expected from time to time.
