About the role

We are looking for someone to join our HR team in Sheffield in an HR Systems Support role, to answer and resolve customer enquiries, take ownership of tasks and ensure complete and accurate solutions are delivered in a timely manner. Providing 2nd line Security and Authorisation support, you will help to provide access to all of our HR systems for all user roles in accordance with Audit guidelines. Resolving queries through liaison with other team members of process teams, you will develop a positive relationship between the process teams, HR services and all customers.


Developing internal reports in Excel and Access for the effective monitoring of risks and also team performance, you will ensure that all system policies are followed in accordance with External and Internal Audit recommendations. Ensuring that all service tickets raised to the team are complete and have followed the correct process, you will also monitor the time taken to ensure that tasks are completed within our Service Level Agreements.

About you

You will have advanced technical knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access, including VBA, along with an understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint. Confident in the use of new systems, you will have a track record of providing excellent customer service along with good interpersonal and communication skills. With the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload, you will take a flexible approach to your work and will look to establish good working relationships with people at all levels of the organisation. Ideally you will have achieved an NVQ level 2 in Customer Service and will be working towards level 3 or equivalent.
