I urgently require an HR (and ideally Payroll) Business Analyst/Systems Process Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity in the North West. This is an awesome opportunity to go in to a forward-thinking, complex organisation that will want you to have full autonomy within reviewing their Business Processes, Documentation and Actions within their HR and Payroll System.
As an internal and external “face”, you will work with end-users to identify gaps within processes and procedures, make recommendations surrounding said results, and ensure that employees within the departments are working in a manner that ensures efficient, fluid operations.
The department itself is welcoming, with a good relationship with other departments – the end goal is to ensure that the entire company is aligned with “best practice” (based upon your recommendations and subsequent implementations) whilst still retaining the interest and inclusion required to make adoption and usage of the system itself and the surrounding processes successful and ongoing.
Ongoing responsibilities will include:
Key Stakeholder and end-user management;
Weekly progress reports;
Roadmap and Key Performance Roadmap identification;
Ideally you will have worked from a “client-side” perspective historically, within an HR and Payroll department – either implementing HR and Payroll Systems from a functional perspective or collating and analysing Business Processes and delivering improvements and efficiencies;
Expertise in a mainstream HR and Payroll System (ideally Unit4 (Agresso) Business World) – SAP, Oracle, Sage, Infor, Epicor, etc will also be seriously considered.
Functional expertise from a consultancy perspective in large-teams – ultimately you are the “face” of the business both internally deparment-wise and externally to the rest of the business. The ability to hold conversations and show empathy with all levels of employee is key.
This is a genuine, long-term commitment for someone willing to get involved for what could be up to two years in duration, and want to deliver the key objectives above, whilst identifying other areas for improvement in the future.
