HR Software Consultant

This is an interesting and unusual opportunity working within an HR and software consultancy environment. You will be working with HR, Payroll, Time and Attendance and Self-Service software. So if you have previous exposure within an HR environment coupled with world class customer facing skills - and a bit of flair when it comes to IT and technology - this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

You will work on client sites so must be confident working with a group or also in 1:1 situations. As a guide we estimate you will be out on client sites 8 days in each month - but of course this does change in accordance with what projects are going on.

Main Duties:

  • Visit customer sites for consultancy & implementation of Time & Attendance, Self Service and Timesheet software

  • Provide guidance to the technical team for data conversions

  • Check and confirm data before and after data conversions

  • Set up software in accordance with customer requirements & Project plans

  • Manage customer requests & expectations for bespoke software changes

  • Create User & Technical specifications for customer enhancements or bespoke work to the HR software

  • Create relevant documentation to support the site visits & the Projects team documentation within deadlines

  • Communicate with all project team members on the status of the project

  • Provide 2nd line support, via telephone, email, remotely or on customer visits

    Additional Duties:

  • First line testing for all T&A, Self Service & Timesheet software

  • Provide support to the Sales & Marketing team, including help with tenders, visiting potential customers & attending exhibitions

  • To keep abreast of all legislative changes in the world of HR & European directives

    The successful candidate will have strong administration skills, good MS Office skills including Word, Powerpoint, Excel and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    You must be a team player - yet able to work on your own initiative. You must also have excellent customer service skills and be confident and business like in your approach.

    A full UK driving licence is essential. A car allowance will be paid upon completion of your 6 month probationary/training period.
