Posted 16 March by Machine Mart

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced HR & Payroll Administrator, to join our HR team based in our centrally located Nottingham Head Office.

The role will include all aspects of HR administration, from updating the HR Payroll system with holidays and absence, advertising vacancies through the Recruitment system, producing new starter & leaver documentation to administering probationary period management and issuing and recording company uniform. You will also have shared responsibility for processing the monthly payroll and producing associated reports.

Along with your previous HR administration and payroll experience, you'll be a proactive team player, with an eye for detail and the ability to work consistently, accurately and confidentially. You should be able to demonstrate effective, confident communication skills at all levels, with comprehensive IT skills in Microsoft Office. You will also be providing and gathering information from our national store network so a professional and friendly telephone manner is fundamental to success.

This is a busy and varied role with active involvement in project work and department development, alongside the more routine weekly/monthly tasks, so the ability to respond to changing priorities with a flexible and tenacious approach to meeting deadlines, is essential.

If you relish the challenge of an exciting and varied role and would like to be part of a committed HR team, this could be the opportunity for you.
