Job Title: HR Operations Specialist
Location: Purfleet
Salary: Up to £32,000 - depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
·Provision of support and advice to line managers on individual employee relation issues
·Support and advice on Line Manager investigations as required
·Support and advice on Discipline, Performance Improvement and Grievance Cases
·Provision of administrative and co-ordination support to facilitating the relationship with site trade unions.
·Day to day management of existing agreements with Trade unions.
·Information Provision to Unions as requested.
·Policy and Negotiation with TU forums delivered by the HRBP.
·Operational Management of Local Agreements; advice and guidance to LMs and TUs.
·Advisor to LMs in management of absence situations.
·Support and advice to line managers on managing attendance and long-term sickness care management.
·Inputting absence data into payroll monthly.
·Support decision making regarding payment / non-payment of SIIBs and actions.
·The HR Operations Specialist will provide advice to line managers on exceptions Management: e.g. Leave with Permission.
·Responsibility for effective and timely input into payroll.
·Local Pay arrangements - monitoring tracking and implementing
·Updating pay rate tables post pay deals.
·Process via mass data entry of exceptional payments/variable Pay/overtime (e.g. Bonus) elements. Respond to and resolve associated queries as requested by Workday.
·Data collection of overtime payments.
·Respond to and resolve associated queries as requested by HR Services.]
·The HR Operations Specialist will be responsible for co-ordination of the local PDP system and process
·Deployment and communication of PDP documents and process.
·Track and Chase completion of PDPs
·Responsible for ensuring all HR information is managed and updated accurately and effectively.
·Complete forms for data changes for new hires, job moves & exits
·Manage position data.
·Prepare and complete mass upload templates for major data changes.
·Maintaining data quality performance.
·Pay review prep and groundwork, e.g. reward benchmarking, forecasts etc.
·Operational Management of Restructuring, e.g. outplacement liaison, individual consultation, distribution of redundancy figures etc
·Maintenance of physical local site information.
·Personal File Maintenance: Act as the site data controller and maintain personnel files appropriately
·Maintenance of HR Shared Drive etc. re: Policies/Rates etc.
·Audit and ensure key HR information is being maintained appropriately, e.g. immigration documents, recruitment records etc.
·Aptitude Testing and Admin Support, including Assessment Centres.
·HR Project Work
·HR Administration

Key Skills:
·CIPD qualified
·Diplomacy, communication and influencing skills - building strong relationships with the HR Business Partners, Line Managers and employees
·Customer service focus - always going the extra step to ensure satisfaction
·HR Operations experience
·Completer-finisher - never leaves tasks incomplete, and ensures processes are followed
·Workday skills are very desirable, but not necessary.
·Understanding of core HR transactional processes and a strong knowledge of MS Office
·Organisation of workload is critical - being able to manage multiple requests and prioritise
·Inquisitive nature
