HR Officer

Elevation HR are excited to be involved in the recruitment of a HR Officer to join one of our clients, a market leading manufacturer, located in Barnsley on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a great time to join the business, one which has experienced growth year-on-year and is now looking to expand its HR function.

Working closely with line managers across a range of departments, you’ll provide hands-on advice and guidance in all aspects of HR, ensuring consistent application in all policies and procedures. This is a great opportunity for a HR Assistant/Coordinator looking to take that next step up:

• Onboarding new starters,sending offer letters and contract and comducting right to work checks
• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
• Prepare HR documentation including meeting notes and correspondence
• Manage maternity, paternity, and parental leave processes
• Run absence reports and support HR administration such as recruitment, onboarding, and fleet management
• Offboarding leavers and liaising with payroll
• Acting as the first line of enquiry on employee relations issues for managers

Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak with HR Officers, HR Advisors, HR Generalists with demonstrable skills in the following areas:

• HR experience, ideally within manufacturing or a fast-paced environment
• CIPD qualified (or working towards)
• Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills
• Confident in advising managers and handling multiple priorities
