As a HR Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring our people have the best systems and operations in place to support, deliver, recognise and reward their work, in turn enabling the CMA to achieve its strategic objectives.
Joining the HR Operations team, you will deliver a high quality and customer focused HR Operations service to internal CMA customers, external stakeholders and other parts of the HR directorate. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing first line timely, accurate and informative responses to all enquiries through our HR enquiry service
- Delivering high-quality HR transactional work including implementing joiner, leaver, employment change and leave processes
- Ensuring an efficient and effective payroll and pension service is provided to all CMA staff
- Maintaining the accuracy and quality of staff records and data held on the HR database (Agresso), payroll system (ePayfact) and in any electronic or hard copy filing systems
- Contributing to HR continuous improvement projects
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a HR or payroll environment, preferably in a transactional or customer-facing role, along with experience of providing a high-quality administrative service, including document management and filing, with excellent attention to detail. You will be able to work both independently and as part of team, with minimal supervision and have the ability to plan and organise a busy workload.
