Our client is looking to recruit an HR Officer to provide a confidential high quality advisory service across the business , with full responsibility for all administrative tasks

Role and Responsibility for the position of HR Officer:

  • Manage the recruitment process including the creation of Job Specifications, advertising, short listing suitable applications, creating interview packs for managers and chasing all required documentation including DBS checks, RTW, proof of qualifications etc and sending out new contracts
  • Organising inductions and delivery of same
  • Managing all the HR files in line with GDPR, updating compliance information, starters, leavers etc
  • Organising and maintaining training records including safeguarding
  • Attend HR meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and action outcomes
  • Support management team in terms of HR advice and support including disciplinaries as well as well being and improvements
  • Maintain all absence and sickness records
  • Policy reviews and updates
  • Manage the Apprenticeship programme

Skills and Experience for the role of HR Officer:

  • Previous experience in a similar position with knowledge of DBS checks, safeguarding etc
  • HR Qualification , ideally CIPD level 5
  • Experience of HR/Personnel IT systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills
