My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced HR Officer to join their busy and growing team in the heart of Rossendale

You will be the main point of contact for all HR related queries but you will have the support of Senior Directors in the business and you will also be expected to refer to ACAS and other professional bodies for guidance and clarification when needed. You must have previous HR experience to be considered - CIPD is not essential but would be an advantage

Daily duties will include;

  • Responsible for the end to end Recruitment process for all areas of the business
  • Monitoring and managing recruitment budget and spend and suggesting ideas for savings where possible
  • On-boarding of all new starters in the business including reference checking
  • Producing template documents for staff Appraisals and Reviews
  • Manage all queries relating to Holidays, Sick pay, Maternity and Paternity leave
  • Assist with leavers of the business including Exit interviews

This role will develop and grow in time so you must be willing and able to take on extra workload as required in all areas related to HR

Strong communication skills are essential for this role - you will communicate will all areas of the business at all levels

Working hours Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm- my client offers an excellent working environment and onsite parking is available
