We are currently shortlisting for a professional and confident HR Officer to join our client, a well-recognised retail brand, based in Lancaster.
This is an excellent opportunity for a competent, motivated and pro-active individual to forge ahead in their career. Our client is passionate about developing staff and this is a great chance for the new HR Officer to learn and broaden their skills.
Based in the Lancaster offices, this role reports into the HR Manager. Our client is looking for an individual with a solid grounding HR who is able to grow with the role and support the company moving forward.
HR Officer duties:
- General day to day HR support
- Ad hoc HR projects as required
- Payroll administration
- Maintain staff personnel files
- Answer incoming HR queries from the business
- Maintain effective HR systems
- Employee relations activities
- Support the development of HR policies
- Employee communications
This role is ideal for an ambitious candidate with experience across the HR function who is able to grow and deliver in a broad role.
Our client needs somebody who has confidence, the desire to exceed expectations and an ability to work on a wide range of HR projects. It is important that they are able to work well in a team and also to work independently.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate similar experience in a previous supporting HR role.
