What does the role entail?
As the Part Time HR Officer you will report in to the CFO with a dotted line to the Global HR Manager, where you will look after day to day operational HR, this is likely to include HR Administration, Contract creation, recruitment, interviewing as well as the full employee lifecycle. You will be the first point of contact for all HR queries including all ER matters which you will investigate as well as coach and advise mangers on. You will also be required to update policies and procedures to represent changes in company policy and/or UK legislative changes. This role will be quite a generalist one and no 2 days will be the same, so please expect additional duties to the ones listed above to be added in too!
What skills will you have?
To be considered for this Part Time HR Officer role you will have experience within a similar HR position, as well as ideally possessing CIPD qualification and/or having an equivalent HR qualification. You will have experience working within a fast paced and diverse organisation where at times things do not go to plan, where there are ups and downs and often changes happening, so you must be a robust and unflappable individual who is happy to get stuck in to all tasks, including at times where this may fall outside of HR where you will need to muck in. You will possess a positive assertive attitude as well as great communication skills, also being a person who has great attention to detail, is self-confident, able to multi task, enthusiastic, pragmatic, alert and independent whilst incorporating a diplomatic approach in difficult situations who can influence and persuade others.
What is on offer?
You will ideally be able to start straight away or will be on short notice! This will be a permanent part time role 2-3 days per week or school hours for 4 days, whichever works best for you. So as well as having that flexibility and working for an entrepreneurial company on offer will be a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 (pro rat for the hours worked)
