HR Officer, London

Our client, a pharmaceutical communications business is looking to recruit an experienced HR Officer to work in their office in central London. This is a newly created role due to the expanding nature of the business. Although part of a small team, you would be the only HR representative in London so the ability to use your own initiative and prior experience of a stand-alone role would be a distinct advantage. The requirements for the role are divided between HR and recruitment.

Role requirements

  • Work with the Recruitment Team to:
    • manage the recruitment process for new recruits
    • source and organise recruitment careers events in London, including preparation of materials
    • prepare internal and external advertisements
  • Work with the Office administrator to manage the overall induction programme, and carry out new starter HR inductions
  • Work with other members of the team to manage employee relations issues
  • Work closely with the L&D Manager to coordinate training needs and plans and help to arrange training events
  • Ensure that employee information and other HR processes are kept up to date
  • Liaise with other members of the HR team to manage the Human Resources Information System
  • Assist the HR team where needed and on agreed projects

Person Specification

  • Degree level of education is preferable
  • CIPD qualification (minimum level 3/working towards level 7)
  • Proven HR generalist experience
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of employment legislation and its application
  • Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy while also being a team player

This role would suit a HR Advisor or HR Officer or HR Coordinator looking to further their career. In return you will receive a salary of between 30-35K + benefits together with the opportunity to work for a forward thinking and expanding company.
