We are working with a growing international organisation within the logistics sector, seeking to appoint a HR Manager to lead HR operations while driving organisational growth across the UK & Ireland. This hybrid role is based in Accrington, offering a fantastic opportunity to influence culture, development and strategy within an evolving business.

As HR Manager, you will act as a true business partner – advising leadership, supporting teams and implementing people initiatives that align with the company’s strategic goals. This is a pivotal role for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a hands-on, multifaceted position with scope for progression as the business continues to expand.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior management to deliver end-to-end HR and talent strategies across the UK & Ireland.
  • Oversee recruitment, performance management, learning & development, plus compensation processes.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives while supporting organisational growth projects, including succession planning and training programs.
  • Manage HR operations, acting as the key point of contact for around 70 employees across two sites.

Key requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR management.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law with solid HR best practice experience.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, people-first mindset with the ability to deliver both strategic and operational HR initiatives.
