HR Manager 

Our client is the largest independent pharmaceutical wholesaler in the UK with a fast growing international network supplying medicines to meet patient needs and providing a route to market for manufacturers.

Position: HR Manager 
Location: Salford, Greater Manchester 
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 9.00am - 5.30pm 
Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 dependant on experiences 

Responsibilities: 

- Act as advisor on all Group H / R issues and to ensure policies, guidelines and standard processes are followed within current legislation 
- Ensure Moorepay are advised and updated on all actions taken within the group 
- Assist with H / R meetings within the group, (some travel will be necessary), as a minute taker, witness, chairperson or mediator 
- Ensure standard processes are followed for H / R meetings and accurate minutes are prepared and issued in a timely manner 
- Ensure that all Time management records are kept up to date including hours worked, holidays, absence etc 
- Ensure accurate recording of the time management system enabling standard reporting and process’s to be followed throughout the group 
- Ensure adequate training has been provided to TMS / Wave users throughout the group 
- Analyse the Time Management records and provide reporting to the Group management teams 
- Issue contracts of employment at the commencement of employment (within 8 weeks) ensuring any changes during employment are documented and a new contract issued 
- Manage the Group administrators at Salford and at remote locations ensuring that the group complies with standard processes within the current legislation 
- Report and maintain all employees’ records 
- Assist in all aspects of H / R administration for the group ensuring the correct documents / templates are used 
- Develop the group H / R offering and change processes to ensure management and compliance throughout the group 
- Develop the staff handbook, Induction pack and group information offering and ensure this is adequately delivered to employees 
- Provide training to the Group to ensure the teams can manage the HR processes adequately 

About you: 

- Educated to Graduate level or equivalent 
- Experience of managing an HR team more than 4 people and at a level above HR administrators 
- Proven experience of developing HR strategy 
- Experience of developing business teams and increasing team capability 
- Effective project management skills with proven ability to develop robust project and task plans and monitor results 
- Experience in working and influencing in a challenging stakeholder and customer driven environment 
- Proven success within a commercially focussed environment 

Desirable: 

- CIPD qualified or part qualified 
- Qualified in SHL Level 2 / BPS Level B 
- Previous delivery within an environment of a high degree of organisational change
