The HR Manager will provide an effective professional HR service to Servomex UK and EMEAI operations. They will also provide generalist HR support and advice to managers, proactively support business initiatives and roll out global Spectris Group projects.
Key Responsibilities will include:
To recommend and implement good practice HR policies and procedures across the UK business and EMEAI in line with Spectris Group requirements.
To ensure that all HR policies and procedures comply with local legislative requirements.
Provides advice and guidance on the interpretation of human resources policies and practices to ensure consistent applications across the company.
Advising and supporting managers on management of change issues, including re-organisation, re-structuring, redundancy and redeployment.
Monitor levels of sickness absence and provide support to managers dealing with high levels of absence or with difficult individual cases.
Managing occupational health referrals ensuring the company make reasonable adjustments to support employees.
Identifies and analyses employee relation issues and takes appropriate action to correct such problems.
Promote the Company’s performance review process, coaching managers where appropriate. Work towards. improving quality of performance process by raising awareness amongst employees and managers
Identify development needs of employees (in consultation with business managers) and facilitate their attainment.
Engage with employees informally, close loop on all complaints or grievances that are brought formally to HR notice.
Work with other Spectris operating Companies to build relationships and assist on UK queries and projects where required.
Being a key contact point for all EMEAI benefits queries, acting as the in-house expert.
Support HR Director in rolling out global HR projects in the UK and EMEAI region.
Undertake Ad hoc project work.
Co-ordinate and manage the apprenticeship scheme
Own and report regularly on HR analytics and achievement of HR related KPI’s
Supporting the HR Director in the talent management process.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Work with the HR Director to co-ordinate and implement the annual pay review process across the whole of Servomex.
Keep up-to-date with all relevant employment legislation.
Management of an HR administrator to ensure effective running of the HR department.
Excellent communication skills in being able to gain mutual understanding from all levels of employees
Experience working with and supporting EMEAI regions (Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Middle East & India)
Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the Senior Management team
Ability to represent the Human Resources function as part of the bigger business picture
Confidence in advising the business on all aspects of people management and development
An extremely high level of in-depth and professional knowledge and experience in managing employee relations and change management programmes, data protection and other relevant HR processes including benefits
Thorough understanding of employment law
A substantial professional and commercial approach to HR
Thorough understanding of different policies
Understand business strategy and keep up-to-date with their organisation, products and HR needs
Approachable demeanour, comfortable with an open-door policy
Proven track record in managing projects through to completion
Ability to juggle multiple priorities
