A stand-alone HR role reporting directly to senior members of the business, driving an alignment between HR strategy and the overall business goals. This is a very hands on role and requires someone that is confident in their ability to lead from the front with a real roll your sleeves up attitude.
Providing first line advice to Managers and Employees and managing a range of complex employee relations cases to include disciplinaries, grievances, absence etc.
Supporting the recruitment process, implementing learning & development initiatives and developing HR policies and procedures.
Carrying out new starter inductions and participating towards health and safety across the business.
As well as administrating all new starters, offer letters and contracts etc. you will also be responsible for collating weekly payroll information to be submitted to an external payroll bureau.
To be considered for this position we are seeking an individual who is a proven HR generalist. CIPD accreditation is preferable. You will also have experience of payroll processing and be familiar with the various statutory calculations ie; SSP, SMP etc.
