Success Recruit are currently looking to recruit a HR & Payroll Manager for a dynamic and growing professional services company based in Central Essex.

The successful HR & Payroll Manager will be expected to provide strategic and operational Human Resources, Payroll and Health & Safety services to the company.

The successful HR & Payroll Manager will be expected to:

  • Have a HR Management Level 5 or above CIPD
  • Be commercially aware with a sound knowledge of employment law and practical application
  • Have previous Payroll experience - preferably Sage

Job Specification

Purpose of the role

The main purpose of the HR & Payroll Manager will be to oversee all employee related issues, acting in a professional and proactive manner with developing new processes and procedures. Working with the senior Directors to help drive the business forward.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Develop and support management/ employee consultation process
  • Manage pay and benefits
  • Building a culture of continual improvement, all aligned to our purpose
  • Provide an HR Service of advice and training to managers and employees
  • Managing the whole recruitment process for all internal positions
  • Advise and support managers with employee relations issues including performance management, disciplinary, grievance and redundancy
  • Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act
  • Perform monthly, quarterly and end of year reviews
  • Management of payroll and all types of leave
  • Provide recording, monitoring and reporting for all relevant health and safety issues
  • Carry out investigations into accidents and incidents, in partnership with operational colleagues

Hours:

Monday to Friday - 9AM to 5:30PM

Salary:

£35,000 - £40,000 Dependent on Experience
