HR Manager

Elite-HR have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join the diverse, and enthusiastic team of a large manufacturing organisation on a permanent basis.

The purpose of this role is to deliver effective, proactive and flexible HR services to the entire Group, by providing relevant and appropriate HR support to employees; whilst driving best practice and ensuring compliance with all company procedures, policies and employment legislation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional level of HR support to the wider business
  • Support and develop the HR team in the delivery of a professional service
  • Recruitment Management
  • Manage the administration of the full employee life cycle, including:
    • Recruitment
    • Inductions
    • Probationary reviews
    • Appraisals
    • T&D
    • Exit interviews
  • Absence Management
  • Payroll; ensure the monthly payroll report is delivered to the Finance Department
  • Advise Line Managers on HR policies and procedures
  • Employment Casework
  • Comp and Bens
  • Engagement and Training
  • Apprentices

  • Solid knowledge of employment legislations
  • Understanding of budgets

  • Ability to prioritise and meet/manage deadlines
  • Strong IT skills

Experience Required:

  • Solid and demonstrable experience as a generalist HR Manager
  • Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders; providing strategic advice
  • Experience of working within an SME

Additional Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree, be qualified to CIPD Level 7, or possess an MBA in HR Management.
  • Full driving licence; you will be required to travel between company sites
  • Ability to obtain SC clearance
