HR Manager
£40,000 - £45,000
Hildenborough, Kent

The HR Manager will provide expert professional advice, guidance and support to all staff on the full range of HR activities including policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, absence management, recruitment, induction, retention, performance management, maternity/paternity, exit interviews, employee relations, and learning & development.

Competencies for success
* CIPD qualified or equivalent
* Fully conversant and up-to-date with all aspects of employment law and HR best practice
* Experience in the development and implementation of employment policies and procedures
* Experience at recruitment, interviewing and assessment
* Proven generalist experience including the ability to work at an operational level
* Ability to work autonomously, flexibly and with confidential information
* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* A drive to deliver excellence and great customer service
* Pro-active, self-motivated, and ability to remain calm in difficult situations
* Excellent attention to detail, planning and organisation skills to implement plans and meet deadlines
* Co-operative and supportive team player
* Enjoy working with people at all levels and in difficult situations
* Good problem solving skills
* Approachable, tactful and diplomatic with excellent active listening skills
* Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, email and the Internet

The HR Manager will be expected to actively support the Directors in monitoring, developing and deploying policies and strategies that drive business performance through its people
