We are looking to appoint a highly capable HR Manager who, as part of the trust’s central team, will play an essential role in supporting the continued development and growth of the trust.

A high-quality human resources function is central to our offer to schools and this vacancy offers the opportunity to lead the team through an exciting phase of our development. You will work closely with Directors and Headteachers to advise and manage in all aspects of people management, leading a small, committed team of fellow professionals.

You must have excellent, demonstrable skills in working with a variety of stakeholders as well as experience working across a complex multi-site environment. You will be able to work autonomously at both a strategic and an operational level with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage conflicting demands. Experience of working within an Education setting and dealing with TUPE would be desirable and experience of employee relations, payroll and pensions essential.

Your main base will be Shelley College, in an attractive site near Kirkburton and Denby Dale in Huddersfield. The successful candidate must be willing to travel to other schools in our partnership.
