We have a fantastic opportunity for a creative and intelligent people and projects focused HR Manager / Talent Manager to join a global and fast-paced communications agency (c.150 people) reporting directly into the HRD.
This is a full HR generalist role, within an innovative and people focused environment, with the real potential to drive the Human Resources / Talent function and influence the people strategy.
On a day to day level you will be actively involved with recruitment, reward, performance, engagement, L&D and employee relations and will worked directly with the Human Resources Executive (who reports into you).
As HR / Talent Manager you will make recommendations and take the lead on a host of HR projects. For example, your first 6 months could include developing an internal mentoring programme, an apprenticeship scheme, working on diversity schemes, recruitment strategies/employee branding, EVP, gender pay gap analysis and implementation of an HRIS.
Candidates will have prior HRexperience within a small agency background, ideally within comms/creative/media and be used to working in a professional and fast-paced environment.
You will have a strong understanding of UK employment law, experience of working on internal comms (esp. across different business locations) and will have experience of implementing an HRIS. CIPD qualified is desirable (ideally to level 5). Candidates will also ideally have experience of managing a junior team member i.e HR Assistant level.
Candidates must be able to show a passion for HR, be aware of current HR trends and will be able to provide examples of strategic HR project work in previous roles (please outline relevant examples on your covering note) that have made their company different and have aligned themselves to the business objectives.
