Location: Milton Keynes (with 1 to 2 days a week in London)
As part of the HR Team you will be providing support to 500 employees. Most days will often bring new challenges along with a diverse range of conversations from the light hearted to the more serious. Many roles say you won’t have the same day twice; in this role we can guarantee this.
You will be joining a team of 5 who are responsible for all aspects of HR. This includes performance management, learning and development, recruitment and employee engagement.

A typical week as a HR Manager might involve
Providing guidance to line managers with regards to performance management issues whilst ensuring we remain compliant with employment legislation
Guide line managers with disciplinary and grievance meetings
Encourage and support people development conversations
Design and run workshops for employees on a wide range of people related subjects for example: interviewing, providing feedback
Actively develop and manage the relationships with external recruitment agencies
As part of the HR team take responsibility for recruitment activity across the business including applications, telephone interviews, arranging face to face interviews, securing offer details and completing the joining process for all new starters
Maintain employee CRM systems with Employee data

Has proven experience in a HR generalist role
Excellent knowledge of employment practices and legislation
Always approachable - Our people are our customers, they come first.
Can listen to and support all types of conversation.
Is able to organise their own workload and also support the team.
Thrives working in a fast paced environment and enjoys the unpredictable
Outstanding communication and listening skills
We would love someone to have any of the following
Experience in a Learning and Development team
Demonstrated examples of applying creativity in all things people related
Recruitment experience end to end
