A leading Real Estate business in London is looking for their next HR Manager to head up their HR Operations team. Managing an established team of five, you will oversee the whole employee lifecycle with a focus on employee relations and HR policy.
Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will need to build good relationships with stakeholders at all levels to understand the business and provide a great HR service. This is a very hands-on role that will focus on employment contracts, employee relations, leavers, HR policies, pay reviews and management information. You will work alongside peers who head up the recruitment and learning and development functions so will support them to ensure a joined up approach between the functions. The role reports into the Operations Director so will be the subject matter expert in all HR and employment law issues.
The successful candidate will have worked in a commercial business, preferably within the Estate Agency, Recruitment or Hospitality sectors, though any sales-focussed businesses will be considered. You will have a strong knowledge of UK employment law and take a commercial approach to HR, mitigating risk but ensuring company performance thrives. Line management experience is essential and you will have the ability to upskill and develop team members, as well as coaching line managers around how to deal with people issues.
