HR Manager

HR Manager: Due to substantial new and sustained financial investment an experienced HR Manager is required to work closely with the leaders of the business to create a successful people plan, building a culture which attracts and retains its talent.

The ideal HR Manager will have previous experience working in a standalone, generalist role as part of an SME or scale-up management team. You will be a self-starter able to liaise at senior / board level and equally happy to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in. You will lead the people agenda, shaping culture and driving change in HR processes.

Working with the Senior Leadership Team you will deliver a proactive and flexible HR service by providing relevant and appropriate HR support, ensuring compliance with all company procedures, policies and employment legislation.

* Taking strategic and operational ownership for all HR activities across the organisation
* Partnering with the leadership team to ensure future success of the organisation in a highly competitive market
* Leading on recruitment, and working with external partners as well as direct sourcing to find top talent
* Establishing the HR roadmap and drawing together into a plan including HR guidelines, reward, benefits, processes, development, ways of working etc.
* Providing the full range of generalist HR advice and support
* Driving innovation, change and improvement in both business and HR practice including performance management, talent, resourcing and development

Skills & Experience:
* Proven track record as knowledgeable HR generalist within a fast-paced SME environment
* CIPD qualified or equivalent and ideally accredited in Predictive Index
* Commercial, rounded approach to HR, with the ability to partner and consult with the leadership team
* Exposure of end to end recruitment including onboarding, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
* ER/employment law exposure and knowledge
* Experience of influencing and coaching managers in all HR related matters
* Self-motivated and confident with strong interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational, excellent communication skills, resilience and the ability to remain calm at all times
