A wonderful opportunity has arisen to join a large global manufacturing organisation as a HRM on a 9-12 month FTC. Supporting 4 sites across the UK with approximately 350 colleagues, you will we be partnering the site leader and senior leadership teams and supporting on the delivery of the 'inyear’ people plan.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead, develop and direct a comprehensive HR function for the business, working as part of the senior management team to deliver the people plan and drive change initiatives
  • Measure employee engagement and identify areas that require improvement to nurture a positive working environment
  • Liaising with a variety of stakeholders involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety
  • Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation
  • Responsible for managing and implementing the companies Recruitment and Selection Process
  • Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits
  • Administering records and maintaining employee records in line with the DPA
  • Interpreting and advising on employment law
  • Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures
  • Manage all new starters and leavers process, including TUPE
  • Planning, and sometimes delivering, training - including inductions for new staff and in-house workshops

What you’ll be doing:

  • A minimum 5 years previous experience in a similar role with proven track record ideally in a manufacturing or equivalent organisation
  • Up to date with current legislation
  • Understanding that flexibility and willingness to adapt will be fundamental to undertake variety of responsibilities
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • CIPD Qualified (Minimum Level 5) or equivalent qualification
