Sussex Recruitment are seeking an experienced HR Manager to cover a 12 month period of maternity leave.
In this role you will provide professional support, advice and guidance in relation to complex employee relations cases and other HR matters. You will also be responsible for the line management and coaching of a team of HR Advisors, Assistants and Administrators ensuring an effective day-to-day service of HR operations.
You will need to be an experienced HR Manager with CIPD qualification, or equivalent, and experience gained within a generalist HR role including detailed knowledge of employment law, HR policies, practices and procedures. Ideally you will be educated to degree level, or equivalent, with an understating of the educational environment. You must be I.T literate and able to quickly pick up new systems and HR software. Knowledge of payroll and pensions within the public sector would also be desirable.
Due to the nature of the role you must have your own transport and be prepared to travel between sites.
