HR Business Partner
Rates: £180 - £200 per day LTD - £20-£25 per hour PAYE
Duration: 12 months
Location: Barrow-in-Furness - LA14 5UB
To support the HR Manager - delivering a proactive and professional generalist HR service to enable MH to meet its people agenda. This will involve both operational employee lifecycle and project activities.
You will not be managing a team. The client needs a generalist who has the experience to support senior stakeholders, however, is still happy to roll their sleeves up.
* Provide support, HR technical expertise and tools for leaders to help manage their employees.
* Coach and upskill people managers on key HR best practice, policies and people management initiatives.
* Provide sound practical HR advice to line managers on HR matters including application of policy and processes, interpretation of employment legislation, employee engagement and communications.
* Point of contact for employee queries, escalation and/or resolution of issues as appropriate.
* Liaise with HR central groups to obtain HR specialist services when required.
* Understand site issues. Conduct analysis, reporting and develop solutions for leadership team consideration.
* Manage local change initiatives with the guidance of the HR Manager
* Co-ordinate annual HR processes.
* Lead/support business focussed HR projects as necessary
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to balance the interests of the Company and employee and then influence and challenge leaders and employees as appropriate.
* HR Generalist experienced in an operational environment
* Ability to deliver HR services across a multi-site environment
Desirable Knowledge/ Qualifications
* Degree educated
* Chartered Membership of CIPD
