HR Coordinator

JOB OVERVIEW: To provide administrative support within the HR function and advise, assist and support line managers where necessary.

HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5.00 pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Being responsible for answering and managing the HR and recruitment email inbox, providing information on general employment matters, HR policies, procedures and benefits in a timely, efficient and friendly manner;
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills;
  • In liaison with line managers, collate and manage attendance, sickness and all absences;
  • Managing the general reviews and probation period for all employees;
  • Liaise, advise and collate all recruitment paperwork;
  • Proven experience of dealing with confidential matters;
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook including booking meetings;
  • Managing the onboarding and leaver processes including presenting inductions, creating offer and leaver documentation and exit interviews;
  • Supporting HR colleagues on ER casework, attending meetings, taking accurate notes and producing related documentation;
  • Producing documentation relating to the entire employee lifecycle including maternity/paternity and flexible working requests, changes to T&Cs, reference requests;
  • Good written and verbal communications;
  • Any administration as required by the HR function;

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

  • Previous generalist experience with HR administration and advisement;
  • Good knowledge of HR in overall functions
  • CIPD qualification or working towards this;
  • Good knowledge of employment law;
  • Presentable in appearance;
  • Good grammatical and reasoning skills;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity at all times;
