Currently I am working with a global professional services firm in central London who are looking for a HR Consultant/HR Generalist/HR Executive/HR Business Partner to join them and be responsible for the running of generalist HR activities with a focus on Employee Relations as part of the People Services element of the business.

The ideal HR Consultant/HR Generalist/HR Executive/HR Business Partner will have the following experience:

  • Have the ability to lead and work within a specialist area within People Services, performing a wide range of activities of moderate scope and sometimes in complex areas.
  • Ability to Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of multiple areas within HR People Services. Builds confidence in the People Services service by developing strong networks with key stakeholders.
  • Keeps informed on business strategies and implements people solutions, actively contributing to the strategic agenda by building relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Monitors, measures and reports on People Services activities within assigned client group such as exit interview findings, site visit outcomes, absence, employee engagement, employee relation issues, L&D initiatives and others as requested.
  • Coaches and supports business managers on issues such as employee engagement, performance, absence, discipline and grievance.
  • Handles welfare matters in respect of all levels of employees, offering or advising on counselling where appropriate.
  • Supports management with employee development, succession planning and talent retention.
  • Leads the performance management cycles, working closely with management to ensure consistency and timeliness of the cycle.
  • Creates reports and analyses information on behalf of the People Services Manager as and when required.
  • Broad knowledge of professional services and the IT market would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience of a senior consultant role in a consultancy organisation.
  • Excellent skills with MS Office suite of programmes, in particular Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.

The HR Consultant/HR Generalist/HR Executive/HR Business Partner role will be based either from home, client site or the London office (depending on where locally the individual lives). The role is paying between £38K-£45K + bonus and benefits (pension, Healthcare, Gym, free training). This role will start as a FTC before going perm.
