HR Category Manager role for a prestigious Financial Services Organisation based in Central London

Your new role
Your role will focus on 3rd party HR category spend of c. £80m/year as well as at times, when required supporting other areas in the Corporate Function Procurement (total spend c. £300/year).
The procurement team are currently going through an exciting transformation evolving towards a strategic function whereby Procurement are trusted advisors to the business with the aim of delivering maximum value.
You will be responsible for all HR subcategories including recruitment, contingent labour, rewards & benefits, learning & development and global mobility.
This is an all-encompassing role where you will manage the end-to-end procurement cycle as well as managing the supplier relationships post-signature. You will not be measured on cost-savings, rather on value creation and risk mitigation.
What you'll need to succeed
At this level you will need prior HR category experience and have worked on an EMEA/Global scale in a strategic capacity. You will need excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to win hearts and minds of stakeholders across the business.
You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have been able to conduct complex negotiations with tier 1, 2 and 3 suppliers on a global scale. In addition, you will also need to have examples of how you have been involved with raising the profile of procurement at previous organisations and business partnering with business units to deliver maximum value.
