We are working with a Legal Services business in central Manchester who have an opportunity for a HR Business Partner.
You will be operating as the only HR person for this office but will be part of a larger HR team, reporting into a Head of HR based at the Head Office down South. Therefore we are seeking an individual who has experience of operating in a standalone role previously as you will understand how to best manage your stakeholders in this scenario.
As the HR point of contact for the Manchester office you will be required to provide HR advice and support to Managers in the areas of Employee Relations, Employee Resourcing, Employee Development, Employee Reward and HR Business projects. As such the suitable person will have a HR generalist background but with a strength towards ER and coaching line managers in order to develop their own confidence and HR capability.
The HR Business Partner will lead and advise on all complex ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, redundancies, appeals and probationary reviews, mitigating risk to the firm. At the same time there is scope and opportunity to get involved in business partnering projects such as employee engagement, change management initiatives, and workforce planning.
Would be a great opportunity for a Senior Advisor looking to step up to become a Business Partner or someone already operating at this level. All applicants must be CIPD qualified and have worked in a standalone role previously.
