What does the role entail?
As the HR Business Partner you will proactively provide HR Business Partnering on a commercial basis for the Commercial Fee Earning Division covering a generalist remit. You will advise on a variety of ER issues making full use of your previous experience as well as your strong Employment Law knowledge to cover simple as well as complex and non-standard issues. There will be a variety of HR Projects going forward that you will be involved in which could involve TUPE, restructures and/or redundancies. You will also take ownership of the new joiner review process, first analysing and then advising managers to ensure high performance and achievement is obtained. You will also look after return to work schemes to ensure talent remains within the business whether this is flexible working or a return to work from adoption, maternity, paternity… On top of this you will be reviewing and amending policies, processes and procedures as well as a variety of other duties too.
What skills will you have?
You will have similar experience working within a Partnering role ideally within a partnership or a professional services company and understand how they operate. As the HR Business Partner you will have worked a wide variety of ER scenarios and have a full understanding of the HR function including best practice. You will be CIPD qualified or equivalent, possessing great stakeholder management skills, influencing and negotiating as well as client facing abilities. You will also be deadline driven, highly organised, analytical, possess commercial awareness, be happy presenting, whilst being robust, strong articulately and numerically, adaptable to change, as well as innovative, committed, enthusiastic, flexible and resilient.
