This is a national role and will involve frequent travel to sites around the country. Experience within a forward thinking technology embracing organisation is ideal as this business is going through a technology transformation programme.
Team fit is really important in this role. It would suit an outgoing and down to earth person who knows how to be professional when it matters. Building relationships with a whole range of stakeholders is essential so you will need to be a people person.
This role sits within a wider team of HR Business Partners reporting in the HR Director. You will be responsible for partnering the business and providing them with a consultancy service across the full HR remit. As a partner to the business you will be tasked with driving forward change, HR initiatives, and upskilling managers through coaching in developing their ability to deal with HR related matters. You will work closely with the HR administration team, comp & bens, and training & development to ensure HR process is followed.
You will communicate and support all HR change matters, including planning and executing organisation design projects.
Provide guidance and support surrounding policies on reward and recognition, as well as support the annual salary reviews.
Other duties include:- deliver development plans to support succession planning, supporting the business in developing recruitment strategy for key roles, monitoring performance, support and advice with Trade Unions negotiations, TUPE, apprenticeship schemes and much more.
To be considered for this opportunity you will ideally already be operating at HRBP level, with CIPD essential. You will also be educated to degree level, preferably in a business or technology related subject. You will need to be able to illustrate a collaborative approach in a changing environment.
