HR Business Partner, Bradford (Part time)

What you’ll be doing

The creation of this role follows a recent restructure of the People team. The introduction of a Business Partner model aims to better engage and add greater value to our 900+ team that will take Hanover forward during a time of transformational change.

Within this autonomous role you will work closely to build effective relationships with key regional stakeholders. With a strong focus on Business Partnering, this role will champion HR and People team services and drive implementation of our People Strategy across Hanover. The role will also be the HR lead of strategic equality and diversity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Partnering with operational management teams to deliver the People strategy that the organisation needs to support its vision and values
  • Providing specialist guidance, knowledge and expertise to empower managers to take greater accountability for HR issues within their teams
  • Supporting the organisation in the management of employee relations issues
  • Collaborating with other members of the People team to ensure an effective and consistent service is offered to all stakeholders
  • Acting as the HR lead on all issues associated with equality and diversity
Who we need

For our HR Business Partners, we need proven Human Resources practitioners with a minimum of 2 years’ experience of business partnering in a comparable organisation.

Key experience and skills required:
  • CIPD Level 7/MCIPD qualified
  • Demonstrable experience in relationship management and business partnering
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to initiate and develop new ways of working and practice
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law, best practice and experience of dealing with varied employee relation issues
  • Experience of developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • A passion for driving equality and diversity
  • Be comfortable in an environment that promotes organisational change and transformation

About the role
  • Contract: Permanent; 28 hours per week, over four days
  • Salary: £43,740 per annum, and an additional £2,400 car allowance (salary for 28 hours per week)
  • Agile working: While each role will have a base location, travel within that region will be a requirement, with a flexible approach to working arrangements
