Job Title: HR Business Partner and Service Delivery Lead (6-months fixed term contract)
Reports to: Senior HR Business Partner & Head of HR Operations
Based at: Richmond, Surrey, UK

Job Purpose: To support UK business divisions in their growth plans through the fantastic deliver of HR Operations and Business Partnering activities

Scope: This is a hybrid role, managing the small yet high-performing HR Operations team as well as providing Business Partner support for a number of business functions (currently our newly acquired teams based in the midlands and Brighton as well as a division of our French business based in London). The scope of the role will, however, evolve as differing business needs take priority.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Service Delivery (whole business)

  • Manage the HR Service Delivery team and processes - 1 x HR Advisor and 1 x HR Administrator to ensure all aspects of service delivery are met including full generalist HR advice and support

  • Take responsibility for HR administration, employee life cycle events, HR reporting

  • Mentor and coach the team to ensure they continually grow and develop in their roles

  • Projects as required - for example employee opinion survey, gender pay reporting, talent or resourcing management

Business Partnering

  • Supporting the client group with people planning, employee development and issues, development and delivery of commercial and strategic initiatives

  • Production of functional people plans

  • Supporting recruitment of senior roles within client group

  • Supporting organisation design and restructuring

  • Identifying and working with L&D to deliver development needs as required

  • Talent management

Person Specification: We are looking for a flexible, passionate and experienced HR professional to support a range of issues arising from growth and development of the organisation. Key areas include business partnering, talent and HR operations, but flexibility to contribute to the generalist and commercial agendas is also required. The individual will be/have:

  • Strong generalist with good background and experience

  • Structured and organised with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Strong team player; highly collaborative whilst still taking ownership

  • Ability to think and work at a both a strategic and operational level

  • Ability to travel to our offices in the Midlands, Brighton and London as and when required

  • Commercial and pragmatic

  • Ideally , some experience in talent management, business partnering and people management

  • Business-led thinking and consulting skills

  • Ability to communicate at all levels

  • Positive and determined

  • Committed and passionate
